Who can take part ?

Anyone who is looking to meet new people either for romance or just  to go out for a drink, cinema etc .

 

 

Who comes to our events?

English speakers want to meet new people in Toulouse and maybe even find that special person. 

 

 

 

Do I have to enrol via the site or can we just turn up on the day ?

You must enrol via the site so that we can set up the right age groups and ensure the right number of men and women.

 

 

How can I pay ?

You can pay via the site.

 

 

Can I  come with friends ?

Of course, but just let us know so that you won’t have to “speed date” each other !

 

 

Can friends come without actually taking part ?

Yes, no problem. There is a bar where they can wait for you and you can meet up afterwards.

 

 

How will I be sure that I will met people of my age group?

We have specific age groups of 20-30, 30-40, 40-50.

We can accommodate 2 different age groups per evening, so it is best to book ahead.

 

 

How many people usually take part ?

A maximum of 10 men and 10 women per age group.

 

 

How do you decide who I will talk to ?

You will meet people of your age group and then you chat with every person for 7 minutes.

 

 

What time does it start and finish?

The evenings start at 7.30 and finish at 9 o’clock.

 

 

What happens at the end of the evening?

It’s a shame to pull the plug on the dot of 9 o’clock, so we continue the evening in a convivial spirit with an “after” where everyone can get together, chat and have a drink.

 

 

How do I get in contact with the people I would like to meet again?

At the end of each “speed date” we give you a little time to complete a form on which you can put a :) next to name of the person if you would like to meet them again.

At the end of the evening the organisers will match the :) s and the next day we pass on the contact phone numbers.

 

 

Can I take part in several evenings?

Yes of course; there is no limit.

 

 

I don’t want to have my photo taken during the evening.

Don’t worry, just let us know when signing up.

 

 

Do you keep the information I give you?

Yes, we keep a note of your phone number and email address, but we don’t keep your “dating sheets”.
